Second Quarter 2024 Dividend Declaration and Payment

At its September 19, 2024 meeting, the Board of Directors of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati (the FHLB) declared a dividend for the second quarter of 2024 at a 9.00 percent annualized rate. This dividend rate is 3.68 percentage points over the average Secured Overnight Financing Rate (SOFR) for the second quarter of 2024 and 3.66 percentage points over third quarter 2024 average SOFR through September 18. 

The dividend declaration reflects the FHLB’s ongoing ability to fulfill its mission of providing robust access to a key source of wholesale funding to member financial institutions and supporting its commitment to affordable housing and community investment.

The dividend payment will occur today, September 19, 2024, in the form of cash and is based on the average stock balance from the second quarter of 2024, which includes a day count basis of 91/366 days. See our dividend history on our Financial Results page.
